Refund Policy

We thoughtfully and lovingly make every map by hand and strive to exceed the expectations of our customers! Each map is truly one of a kind and due to the highly customized nature of these prints refunds are only allowed for a limited amount of reasons.

Canceled Orders

We will contact you with a proof to be approved within 48 hours of purchase. If we don’t hear back from you within 48 hours we will cancel your order and refund all but 15% of your money to cover the time we spent on designing it. You may contact me to restart your order within 1 month and we will walk you through the process of paying the difference once more. It is of the utmost importance that you use an email that you can respond to promptly.

Shipping Issues

Unfortunately due to COVID, shipping delays and delays in transit are not eligible for refunds. Shipping companies currently are not guaranteeing transit times and neither can we. We will always do our best to give you a realistic expectation for shipping times and your best options for getting your print by the deadline you need, when requested.

It is your responsibility to ensure that your map is being delivered to a mailbox that can handle a flat 11″x9″x0.25″ rigid mailer without being bent. We have recently found out that the maps are classified as “fragile” and are not eligible for insurance coverage. We ship our maps in a plastic covering, inside of a rigid mailer, with a “handle with care” sticker on it. Please make arrangements to have your map delivered to a mailbox that can handle a flat item of this size or have it delivered to a local post office. Unfortunately, we cannot replace or refund maps that are damaged by the courier. We will however offer to remake the map for the cost of supplies and new shipping fees. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

All shipments are sent with tracking numbers. Once a shipment is marked as successfully delivered, our transaction is complete. If you didn’t receive your print to your delivery address then you will have to follow up with the courier to find out what happened. If you’d like a replacement print sent I can offer you a new one for the cost of shipping and a replacement print fee which covers the costs involved with making a new map.

If you entered a wrong address or an invalid address at checkout, these do not qualify for a refund. If possible we will reroute the shipment before delivery at your expense. If the print is returned to us we can reship it to you at your expense.

Mistakes

If there are mistakes with the details of the map when ordering the map that isn’t corrected before we finish creating the map, these are not eligible for a return or refund. We always send a pre-printed design proof that you need to look over and approve before printing. Once approved, your map will be created and shipped.

If there is a problem or error with the star map accuracy that is our fault, we will absolutely refund or remake your map at no cost to you. 

Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the quality of the map within 30 days of delivery you can send it back to us at your expense for a partial refund. You will receive the purchase price less 25% to cover the included original shipping fees and a fee for crystal recovery once we have received your map back to us. Though, we have yet to have a customer that is not satisfied with the print yet.
